Job Summary

This role will serve to assist the Process specialist in executing their duties across the Legacy asset (Tioga, Keene and Fryburg). Examples include:

  • Light to medium project management such as hydro-testing pipelines, SWD surface piping replacements, facility operational field risk assessments and improvements.  
  • LOTO planning and field executing assistance for complex projects; P&ID planning and mark-up, including field verification walk downs.
  • Assistance to ISPs with planning and material acquisition for WMS maintenance and small projects, ensuring quality notifications and work orders.
  • Work with Logistics Specialist to ensure WMS maintenance is continuous and compiles with Hess business rules, SAP prioritization time frames, and meets Hess QA/QC standards.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining Daily Work Plans
  • Maintain regulatory requirements such as BLM, Flaring, VOC emissions, assist with OGI exception remediation.
  • Assistance in generating Legacy specific SWIs and AMs to improve Integrity and Safety, Availability and efficiency.

 

Routine Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Operates equipment and understands process controls & flow (start up, shut down).
  • Captures work activities (EBS, autonomous maintenance, corrective maintenance, predictive maintenance, etc.) accurately in the system
  • Responsible for compliance of safe work practices (contractors and employees); approve and execute safe work permits
  • Responsible for executing continuous SQDCM improvement activities, such as identify opportunities for problem solving and improvements
  • Performs second-level response; provides direction to Reliability Operators.
  • Augment Process Specialist in representing the area in RCAs
  • SAP notifications, time confirmation, TECO autonomous maintenance activities, invoice review/approval.
  • Fulfil handover requirements for all subsurface maintenance such as fluid levels, troubleshooting and workovers
  • Ensuring accuracy of ODR, SAP, XSPOC, regulatory standards data entries
  • Clearly communicates and works with contractors to comply with applicable Hess policies and procedures

     

Experience/Skills               

 

  • Industrial / oilfield experience
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft, SAP)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and practices
