Position Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing all Corrective Maintenance Planners for both Upstream and Midstream organizations. It entails managing Planning KPI’s, training, coaching, and driving continuous improvement in both Quality and Delivery aspects within planning. This position also requires good problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and communicating obstacles and breakthroughs to leadership.

Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Oversees weekly performance from Planning team to include: hours planned, Task List Improvements, and use of Material Masters within planning for Priority 2-4 work orders.
  • Works with planning team with improved Task List quality and accuracy based on the feedback from work being executed in the field.
  • Monitors and looks for areas of improvement with respect to estimated cost vs. actual cost – Cost Accuracy Improvements
  • Works with planning team to build standards around planning and manage the Day in The Life of a Planner standards
  • Monitors process metrics to drive equipment reliability
  • Supports ERT’s with driving cost improvements within corrective work
  • Provides inputs to ISP performance management around Time Confirmation and Material Master usage.
  • Understand, Communicate, Monitor, and Re-enforce compliance of Work Execution Processes.

     

Experience/Skills               

 

  • 2-3 years of Field operations experience around surface equipment within Upstream and Midstream organizations
  • Deep understanding of maintenance planning philosophy and work management structure
  • 5-7 years of Planning experience using SAP or similar software
  • Good understanding of maintenance reliability and roles and the work flow of the maintenance value stream
  • 3-5 years of experience managing people and processes
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and tools
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and process improvements
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment

     

Education/Training            

 

  • Bachelors, or Associates degree preferred
  • SAP PM or equivalent
