Reservoir Engineering & Production Jobs

Reservoir Engineering and Production professionals provide the information and data knowledge to optimize the recovery of hydrocarbons from a reservoir. Reservoir Engineers are responsible for development planning, reserve estimating, simulation studies, well testing and economic modeling.

In Exploration, Reservoir Engineers assist in the development of projects and conduct economic evaluation of assets. Their responsibilities include providing reserve estimates, cost estimates and production forecasts. They also build and maintain the reserve database, and assess development simulations and profitability scenarios on exploration properties.

Production Engineers are responsible for equipment design, asset management and evaluation of production monitoring. In addition, they contribute to field development plans by assessing where to drill and provide forecasts of expected temperatures and flow. They are the link between the subsurface and surface groups, controlling how much is coming out of the wellhead.
