POSITION SUMMARY


This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Hess’ compensation programs. The candidate must be detail oriented with strong excel, reconciliation, and reporting skills. The position will support benefits and payroll activities.  In addition, this position will partner with HR generalists to provide guidance on compensation matters.

 Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the day-to-day administration of the company’s global broad-based compensation programs. Provide hands-on delivery for job matching, job pricing, plan administration, data base management, reporting, and reconciliation activities.

  • Collaborate with Talent and HR Business Partners on compensation related activities such as new hire offers, promotions, etc.
  • Support global compensation processes including systems set-up, data analysis, data integrity, creating payroll files, responding to customer inquires, system testing, communications, and reporting.
  • Complete or conduct salary and benefit surveys for domestic and international locations, accurately and timely. Conduct job matching interviews with HR and business managers to ensure quality survey matches.
  • Partner with other compensation team members with various reporting requests. Must be proficient in excel and be able to do vlook-ups and pivots tables.
  • Develop and maintain internal compensation processes and procedures.
  • Support benefits open enrollment activities. Work with payroll on reconciliation activities.
  • Represent the corporation at industry and professional conferences.  Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS
 

Experience

·       3+ years compensation experience with job evaluations and market pricing preferred.  Benefits experience desirable

·       Certified compensation professional (CCP) designation desirable

·       International compensation experience desirable

·       Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to solving problems required

·       Understanding issues from corporate compensation and consulting perspectives desirable

·       Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required

·       Experience and knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting tools required

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills required

·       Ability to interact with different stakeholders and effectively communicate ideas required

·       Strong focus on collaborating with others to execute deliverables

·       Consultative skills desirable and attention to detail

 

Education, Training & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
