POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Facilities Engineer will provide technical support with a focus on Reliability and Maintenance Engineering, Operational support. Position works 14 days on, 14 days off rotating schedule on an offshore production platform.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Steward for progressing facility bad actor lists and facilitating resources to address and resolve
  • Provides troubleshooting support for process upset events and assuring Subject Matter Experts are engaged
  • Acts as a facilitator to conduct root cause analysis
  • Provides engineering support for the development and implementation of Management of Change (MoCs) to completion.
  • Supports modification of engineering drawings, for example Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Supports development of procedures for non-routine operations
  • Creates or modifies Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Manages and assists in facility projects and/or maintenance activities
  • Support regulatory permit requests based on an established procedure
  • Provides Facilities Engineering support for Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOPs) and risk analyses
  • Assists Offshore Operations in the preparation of the annual operating expense (OPEX) budget

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant industry experience required; 10+ preferred
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process improvements
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical / I&E / static / rotating equipment and process control, automation and safety shutdown systems
  • Effective at communicating ideas, findings and status orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Ability to work 14 days on, 14 days off rotating schedule in an offshore environment
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment
  • Ability to obtain Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) training/certification
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Visio, TEAMS)

 

Education, Training & Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline required
