This position is responsible for ensuring designated value streams are executed safely, with quality, and meet standard operating procedures. It entails working daily continuous improvements with contractors and crews to improve existing SWI’s, tools, and technology. In addition, the Work and Material Flow logistics specialists works cross functionally to identify new value streams the team can execute and improve upon.

 

Responsibilities

· Perform job type analysis of process team corrective and preventive SAP work orders to identify low-cost, repetitive jobs for work streams

· Develop and document standardized job procedures (tools, materials, methods, quality criteria, required time, etc.).

· Identify new job scopes that can be executed by WMF.

· Develop and document service vehicle layouts to accommodate continuous material replenishment activities for corrective and preventive work orders.

· Collaborate with GSC Materials and Procurement -and - maintenance service contractors to improve continuous material replenishment flow process (service levels, replenishment cycle time, Kanban management, etc.).

· Lead and Mentor in order for continuous improvement with contractor and work streams

· Document W&MF process improvements in the W&MF quality manual (e.g., business process flow charts, Standard work procedures, SPC charting, etc.).

· Assess (Audit) contractors for conformance to standardized job procedures and business process flow requirements. Assess (Audit) work streams for conformance to business process flow procedures and data quality requirements.

· Lead Kaizens, execute A3’s, and rapid improvement events to improve W&MF performance and document improvements to standardized job procedures.

· Create and Maintain SWI’s within EDMS for WMF value streams

· Track and Manage job cycle time, costs, and unit rates.

 

Experience/Skills

 

· Advanced Lean knowledge (principles and tools), skills and experience

· Field experience, with Production operations experience preferred

· Basic understanding of oilfield surface and subsurface equipment, maintenance processes

· Strong written and verbal communications skills

· Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and process improvements

· Proficient computer skills (Microsoft, SAP)

· Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment

 

Education/Training

 

· Bachelors, or Associates degree preferred
