POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be for a Process Specialist in the Minot, ND office.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors process metrics to drive stability; implements countermeasures and suggests improvements
  • Provides coaching / drives work accountability downward
  • Facilitation and/or heavy participation in risk assessment process
  • Leads and executes lean and continuous improvement (including EBS)
  • Responsible for rig supervisor (contractor) competency and skills (in collaboration with Competency Assurance and Training team)
  • Works with Reliability Engineering team to identify improvement opportunities
  • Represents the operation in RCAs
  • Responsible for Safety Quality Delivery Cost Morale (SQDCM). Develops and implements rig supervisor standard work
  • Establishes and manages priority for complex work and when competing priorities exist
  • Manages analytic model for rig scheduling
  • Accountable for daily cost review / budget burn rate monitoring
  • Engage contractor community to build trusted partnerships & sense of ownership
  • Facilitates contractor management, monitor contractor KPI’s and metrics and drive vendors for improvement opportunities
  • Manages Rig Forecast Model
  • Maintains Rig metrics through Spotfire (Wellview Query)
  • Maintains EBS Rig Backlog sheet
  • Wellview Bot Management

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Industrial / oilfield experience
  • Knowledge of subsurface equipment; awareness of surface equipment
  • Formal understanding of LEAN principles and tools
  • Strong process flow (P&ID) knowledge; detailed understanding of operating procedures and standards
  • Detailed understanding of operating procedures and standards
  • Work / project coordination
  • Supervisory / leadership experience recommended
  • Highly Competent computer skills (Microsoft, SAP)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and process improvements
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a diverse, multidiscipline team environment
  • Spotfire experience recommended
  • Coding experience recommended
  • Reliability/Production engineering background

 

Education, Training & Certifications

  • Associates Degree Recommended
